The value proposition, as it is called in Greek, refers to the value that a company promises to offer to customers should they choose to purchase its product or service. A value proposition is also a statement that introduces a company's brand to consumers, telling them what it stands for, how it works and why it has value.
Value is the importance of some material or intellectual good that can be valued, even subjectively. In Economics, the term value characterizes the importance that a good has for the satisfaction of human needs.
The Value Proposition is also an integral part of the Business Model Canvas, which is a template for a brief presentation of the core strategies of a business idea or startup. In fact, in traditional templates, the Value Proposition is in its center and it is recommended that its presentation starts with it.
